Thanksgiving at our house!
CLICK HERE for more Holiday Diner #recipesSo Thanksgiving is the start of the month long insanity that they call the holidays! In our home our family we all come together and share the yearly meal that usually starts with snacks; deviled eggs, cream cheese celery sticks, a vegetable platter (gotta have something healthy)and a few sweet treats. We then run around like people gone mad getting the dinner ready. It starts with a prayer to give thanks for what we have been blessed with throughout the year. It is then time to dig into the salad(which does not always get touched due to saving room) Lettuce, spinach, tomatoes and onions topped with our favorite salad dressings. While the rest of the family is chowing down on their rabbit food, we are carving the turkey and finishing the gravy. Now that we have finished our salads and the gravy and turkey are ready we all get to sit down and have an awesome start to the season. Our table is full of Potatoes,Gravy, Sweet Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Turkey, Ham or Primerib and our favorite Rolls. Now if we still have room for dessert we roll out the pies that we have made; pumpkin, Eggless Pistachio, SweetPotato, Cherry and an eggless Pumpkin pie. By this time, from running the gantlet of food we are all ready to sit on the Lazyboy and couch to take a nap and dream of the nights Black Friday adventures and the coming Christmas and the next family dinner.
